01

Understand the plan before using it

The Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan is the government’s long-term roadmap for sustainable urban development and quality of life. It focuses on themes including urban centres, mobility, accessible daily needs, public space and integrated communities.

The official 20-minute city initiative aims to place 55% of residents within 800 metres of mass-transit stations and enable access to 80% of daily needs and destinations within 20 minutes.

02

Connect city policy to project reality

A project marketer should show the specific relationship between the development and the relevant urban theme: walkability, transit, mixed use, green space, an urban centre or access to daily needs.

Do not imply that every project is endorsed by the plan or guaranteed to benefit equally.

03

Create useful local guides

Explain how a community works today, what is officially planned, where the project sits and what residents can reasonably expect. Maps, official-source links and update dates help readers evaluate the story.

These pages can support buyers, agents and AI answer systems because they define the context instead of repeating a broad market slogan.

04

Use the framework across formats

A flagship guide can support short videos, community comparisons, sales decks, investor briefings and project landing pages. Each adaptation should keep the same source discipline and clarify whether a statement is current, planned or interpretive.

05

Maintain the evidence

Infrastructure and planning content needs an owner and review schedule. Re-check official sources, update material changes, preserve the modified date and remove claims that are no longer accurate.
