The official Blue Line picture
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority says the Blue Line is scheduled for completion in 2029. It will create interchange connections with the existing Green and Red lines and connect areas including Mirdif, Al Warqa, International City, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Academic City, Ras Al Khor, Dubai Creek Harbour and Dubai Festival City.
RTA states that completion will expand Dubai’s combined metro and tram network from 101 kilometres to 131 kilometres and increase the number of stations from 64 to 78.
Market access without overpromising
Developers and agencies can explain planned connectivity, interchange logic and the relationship between homes, work, education, leisure and the airport. They should also state the future completion context clearly.
Do not turn network proximity into a guaranteed investment return. Buyers deserve the difference between an official infrastructure fact and a marketer’s interpretation.
Create community-specific search and content
Each connected area deserves its own decision-led content: who it suits, how it connects today, what is planned, what amenities exist and which trade-offs remain. A generic ‘near the Blue Line’ page repeated across projects will not build authority.
Update the page as construction and official guidance progress, preserving the date and source of each material fact.
